LaTonya Simmons, former Talent Acquisition Manager at Pearl, has been promoted to Director of Talent Acquisition. As Director, LaTonya oversees Pearl’s recruiting operations for both government and commercial contracts. Her responsibilities include building Pearl’s recruitment marketing strategy, operations, and new hire engagements while continuously optimizing ROI, leveraging community leaders and referral partners, and managing and developing a virtual recruiting team.
LaTonya most recently led the successful recruiting of Pearl’s Tempe, AZ site where 800+ call center agents and management staff was hired for the 2020 U.S. Census Questionnaire Program. Under LaTonya’s leadership Pearl also recently launched a 400-seat virtual contact center and performs a recurring role in supporting a 400+ seat contact center in Winchester, KY that supports healthcare benefits open enrollment.
LaTonya is a graduate from an HBCU, Alabama A&M University, where she studied Family and Consumer Sciences. She is a lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a public service organization which confronts the challenges of African Americans, hence all Americans. Before joining Pearl, LaTonya was an Independent Consultant as an HR and Staffing resource in the Casting, CPG, Experiential Marketing, and Advertising space representing major consumer brands. LaTonya resides in Georgia with her two children and husband of 20 years.
