Ellen Contreras to lead corporate business development efforts for contact center solutions company
Pearl Interactive Network, Inc. (Pearl) recently hired Ellen Contreras to lead corporate sales efforts for the company. As a key member of the business development team, Contreras will focus on helping organizations with their recruitment and diversity efforts, as well as assisting new clients in building a talent pipeline through Pearl’s Apprenticeship Program.
Contreras has worked in the recruiting and staffing industry since 2005, placing candidates from entry-level to executive-level in various industries, including construction, manufacturing, IT, logistics, healthcare, agriculture, and finance. She most recently worked at Manpower, helping businesses attract top talent. She currently volunteers as co-chair of the Treasure Coast Business Leadership Network, an organization devoted to providing resources for local businesses to attract and retain employees with disabilities.
“We are excited to have Ellen join the Pearl team” said CEO Merry P. Korn. “Her passion of helping the corporate sector expand diversity efforts coincides with Pearl’s mission of hiring a niche workforce of veterans, disabled veterans, and people with disabilities,” she added. “Her background in business development, combined with her experience in recruiting and staffing makes her a perfect fit for taking our company to the next level. With workforce shortages in the IT and insurance industries, we believe we’re positioned to roll out our Apprenticeship Program with Ellen leading the charge.”
Contreras has a degree in computer information systems from Briarcliffe College, graduating summa cum laude as the valedictorian of her class. She is also a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCSE).
