Pearl Interactive Network Provides Contact Center Solutions for Insurance Industry

Virtual Insurance Solutions Delivers Contact Center Solutions For Personal, Commercial Lines

Pearl Interactive Network, Inc. (Pearl) launched Virtual Insurance Solutions, a service delivering contact center solutions to the insurance industry for personal and commercial lines. The approach delivers home-based contact center services, tapping a workforce of skilled and talented veterans, disabled veterans, military spouses, people with disabilities, and people living in geographically challenged areas.

“Insurance companies have challenging personnel needs,” explained Merry Korn, president of Pearl. “They need an agile workforce, the flexibility of hiring for second and third shifts, and access to a workforce without incurring the cost of additional space.”

Employment trends indicate an increase in demand for labor within the insurance industry. The U.S. Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Property/Casualty carrier employment increased by 1.3%, for the 12 months ending in December, 2014.

Following a corporate trend of hiring employees to work from home, Pearl’s solution provides jobs to companies looking for a cost-effective employment solution.

According to Monster.com Internal Data (April 2014), three million people have recently left the military service. More than two-thirds (64%) of surveyed veterans said they are likely to search for a job in the next 12 months. In an economy still struggling to recover, these military veterans are likely to face employment challenges.

“The corporate trend of more people working from home is perfect for veterans with disabilities,” explained Mike McKinney, director of communications for the Ohio Department of Veterans Services. “Transportation can be a barrier for them. So this capability to work from home opens more opportunities.” Pearl’s Virtual Insurance Solutions overcomes geographical and transportation barriers.

Monster.com also reports “nearly all employers (99%) believe that veterans perform their job the same or better than non-veteran workers. Similarly, employers report that veterans perform as well or surpass non-veterans in terms of career advancement, job retention, and job turnover.”
